Angelina Jolie visits refugees from Libya in Lampedusa

Angelina Jolie arrives at Lampedusa, but not for a holiday. As UN ambassador, together with the High Commissioner of the United Nations refugee Antonio Gutierres, the beautiful American actress came to Cie of Lampedusa (the reception center for migrants, which is now piling up hundreds of Libyan Refugees fleeing the war that has bloodied their country, but other African migrants) to listen and bring their voice in the world.

We know that in order to raise awareness on issues such as delicate of human rights violations, are worth more than the beautiful eyes and the charm of a star (in this case enormous popularity as Angelina) than the thousand faces of suffering that we see too often check on our television screens, and that the casual observer, it almost does not interest us.

Angelina has made a stop in Lampedusa coming from Turkey, where he met with Syrian refugees, also fleeing from the bloody regime of their state, and on the island wanted to leave his fingerprints, just as she was a migrant, a asylum seeker. Angelina has been stirred by the memory of migrants perished at sea, praised the commitment and the good heart of Lampedusa, said he considered an honor to be there.
