The provocative march of women to say no to abuse and violence

A dry no to abuse and violence: after work in the USA and Canada, the most provocative march of 2011 arrives in Europe, Australia and Central America. The thousands of women marched through the streets of their town, they wore skirts, high heels and dresses very provocative to claim their right to dress as they want, without having to be commented on and, worse, abused by men.

A gesture is very important that want to bet too much attention to the abuse and violence at the expense of women. The "March of the hoof" is the unique name given to the event has attracted attention from around the world. The method of protest was very original and stressed that all women think, the right to dress as they want, without becoming subject to the desires of the sick men.

The protests began after a Toronto police officer had stated that women should not dress too provocatively, like the women on the street, to avoid being raped. Inconceivable that a declaration has rightly triggered the anger and protests from women! The next events will be in Mexico City, in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, and Honduras capital, Tegucigalpa.

In Mexico City, banners reported a very significant sentence: "No means no."
