The recipe for strawberry granita

Strawberry Granita is a dessert typical of Sicilian cuisine that is eaten at breakfast along with a delicious hot croissants. Across the island is served granita and a taste of the most loved by adults and children is certainly the strawberry. Today I present to you the instructions to make home a fabulous strawberry granita, the recipe is very simple and even faster on average, but then you need to mix the granita in the freezer to break the ice crystals.


Ingredients for the strawberry granita (serves 4). Preparation. Take a large bowl and put hot water, sugar and lemon juice, stir to dissolve sugar and have a syrup. Blend strawberries in a blender and when it will become a cream, add sugar syrup well and blend again. Pour the mixture into a bowl and place it in the freezer.

Stir with a fork every 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Put crushed ice into glasses and decorate with whipped cream and whole strawberries. In Sicily the granita is served with warm croissants!
