Aimee Mullins, the model without legs, is the new face of L'Oreal

Her name is Aimee Mullins, and is a true force of nature! His story can be touching, or item, depending on how you want to read it: the point is that Aimee is a strong and ambitious woman, model, athlete and actress. That does not have the legs is just a detail. Born 34 years ago in Allentown, in Pannsylvania, Aimee had to undergo amputation of his legs at the knee, when he had one more year.

But he has stopped walking, running or jumping, in fact in '96 he won the Paralympic Games in Atlanta, setting a record in the 100-meter dash and long jump. In '99 was the top model for Alexander McQueen and, in the same year, submitted by People in the list of 50 most beautiful women in the world.

In addition to appearing in several films, including World Trade Center, in which he played the role of a journalist, Aimee is also representative of innovative thinking that values a woman's body regardless of the opportunities offered by life. And his personality can be understood from these statements that do not need any comment: "My parents had the right attitude: do with what you have, sbrigatela" and talking about the anorexic models, added: "Complying with the desire of designers to put the dress in the foreground, becoming gruccette-door clothing.

I have never been so on. I think I soon developed the characteristic that makes it irresistible to children and old best: do not care about the opinion of others, they think only of their personality. " And now?? Aimee is the new face of L'Oreal, the brand that everyone knows the slogan for why you are worth: what better testimonial!
