The best foods are aphrodisiacs saffron and ginseng: beat the chocolate

There are a thousand and one ways to express their erotic charge and no school can teach a unique method for doing so. Food and sex go hand in hand as always in the first term, there is a sensuality which then inevitably ends in the second. If women have so far preferred the chocolate man, consoling more with the feeling of peace induced by the sweet, this time the so-called "food of the gods" may lose the distinction of ultimate aphrodisiac.

The scholars argue, led by Massimo Marcone of Guelph's Department of Food Science University of Guelph, Ontario (Canada), according to which saffron and ginseng can improve sexual performance, beating in this, of course, chocolate . The study compared hundreds of previous studies have shown that the natural aphrodisiac properties of substances on sexual function.

"Aphrodisiacs have been used for thousands of years all over the world, but the mechanisms of which they are based have never been well understood - says Marcone -. Ours is the scientific study on this subject more in-depth and detailed to date. " We know little sex is bad for the heart, but the desire to gallop a little help from nature it takes.

The researchers, however, were surprised to find that ginseng and saffron were the most effective substances to improve sexual performance, in spite of the most popular and tasty chocolate. Data from several studies, compared, revealed that many people claim to perceive an increase in sex drive after having consumed Muira puama (a plant that is found in Brazil) and the root of maca, a plant of mustard in the Andes.

To make the night really fire, then we must turn toward the exotic world of spices and the results will be seen easily. The excitation induced by the chocolate, however, was even denied, because the alleged aphrodisiac effect, it was not linked to increased sexual arousal, but the fact that some people feel the effect of certain substances in chocolate, such as phenylethylamine , which can affect levels of serotonin and endorphins in the brain.

Definitely help to avoid any part of alcohol: it increases the excitement, of course, but much worse performance. Scholars, however, warned that the aphrodisiac effects of these substances have not been investigated in the round and therefore exceed their consumption could be harmful. The sex, though it is a topic much debated, remains a delicate ball that sticks to the habits, sensitivity and sensuality inherent in every human being without patterns nor prejudice, nor even little help outside effective for everyone.
