Competition "Red Door"

Rethink, redesign and restructure (graphically and materials), the famous Red Door, a legendary symbol of the Elizabeth Arden brand here is what to ask the Special Project Design Competition, launched by the maison de beauté in exactly a century after his birth. And here, among all those who participated in the project of talent scouting (ie students, creative people, or even real professional designer, graphic design, fashion and architecture) the names of four finalists, all chosen for the originality and 'immediacy of their work: Francesca Curcetti (painter of Milan, aka Sonika Sik), Alex Fratini (designer Roman), Andrea Martin (architect in Buenos Aires), Elisa Turrini (graphic designer of Trento).

Thanks to them, the famous Red Door has been redesigned in the following ways. As an acrylic on canvas inspired by a story underground, dedicated to all women, according to the idea of  Francesca Curcetti. As a work-related textile imagery of "Alice in Wonderland," according to Alex Fratini.

How to design a play between tradition and contemporaneity, according to Andrea Martin. And finally, as an object of industrial design that blends function and emotion in him, according to the idea of  Elisa Turrini. How, where and when they can see all these articles? On 12 April in Milan, during a special party held in the city for the opening of the Salone del Mobile.

In the evening the same day (and in the same location of Milan) will be declared the winner of the project, the presence of a world-class designers. To stay up to date on Special Design Project, we recommend that you visit our website: www. elizabetharden. com / design!
