Alcohol is prohibited in pregnancy, it hurts the child

We talked many times of alcohol intake during pregnancy, but obviously there is still a lot of work, because this concept has not come out loud and clear to future new mothers. Alcohol is very harmful to the fetus, so it is absolutely forbidden, I have often heard phrases like "less is allowed" or, worse still, "do not drink the wine, the beer, the gynecologist I said that's good.

" I was incredulos, I wonder where you start and where to begin the indifference and superficiality ignorance. Now the campaigns against smoking and alcohol during pregnancy are countless more, are commonplace and yet there are still those who commit the same lightness, for a short satisfaction may threaten the mental and physical health of their child.

Alcohol during pregnancy can cause the child fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), would all those birth defects that are formed prenatally and that unfortunately are not in any way reversible. Alcohol is crucial to child development, heart, eyes and brain are beginning to form from the first week and continue until you reach the 9 months.

Alcohol is bad anyway because it is absorbed by the fetus through the placenta. The greater the amount and the greater the damage, so little alcohol is less painful, is not true that it does not hurt. The difference is subtle but it is all to the detriment of health. So ... I recommend no alcohol during pregnancy, stop it as soon as you discover that they are pregnant!
