There's the terrible "promises Bites'

"On 7 November 1628, towards evening, on a slope of that branch of Lake Como turns off to the south, while the craggy peaks cast a dark shadow on villages and countryside and a ghostly mist seems to swallow the woods and valleys, a girl tries vain to escape the ambush of a being with red eyes like glowing embers.

" This is the disturbing opening words of the new novel-style dark weblog Rizzoli. Surely you must be thinking of you: "It reminds me of something." And, wandering among old school memories and readings, you will come to think of Alessandro Manzoni and that branch of Lake Como, which begins the romantic story of "The Betrothed." You're right.

This new literature, in fact, is titled "I promised bites" and is merely a parody of the famous Gothic novel by Milan. Signed by a mysterious "Anonymous Lombardo," the book tells the story of Renzo and Lucia between nuns-witches, werewolves and brothers-bandits who kill fiends. In this version so dark, the vampire can bite Lucia Don Rodrigo and stun him with his eerie charm, Renzo forced to share with him the heart of his beloved.

In "I promised bites" the traditional character of the historical novel by Manzoni seem to turn into Dracula or, more modernly, the characters in the Twilight saga. Certainly, this text will be left to the history of parody. Perhaps, however, will spend some time entertaining a few students a bit 'bored.
