How to treat plants: Primula malacoides

There is a map that begins to bloom when the cold winter goes away: it is the Primula. It grows wild in meadows and forests and we are delighted with the yellow color of its flowers. There are several kinds of primroses, suitable for cultivation in gardens but also in flower pots on balconies and windowsills.

Some are also suitable for cultivation in the apartment. The wild species that are in the meadows and woods are acaulis Primula vulgaris and Primula veris or or smell. These two are not suitable for cultivation at home, while a species with brightly colored flowers, which is well suited to growing in the apartment: the Primrose malacoides.

La Primula malacoides is a map of Chinese origin. Do not exceed 25 cm in height and has light green leaves with white ribs. This Primula flowers abundantly from January to April, its flowers are white, pink, fuchsia, red, and lilac. The malacoides you can have at home, but away from heat sources and should not be affected directly by the sun.

You can plant in pots or bowls to create arrangements with plants of one color or different colors. It should be watered every 3 days and fertilized with a fertilizer for flowering houseplants every 10 days. In the gallery, you can admire some beautiful pictures of Primrose malacoides.
