Waiting for the award of the Palme d'Or, there's nothing like a good movie at the cinema, maybe just one of those presented at Cannes 2011. As "Mr. Beaver," an original, difficult film that was attended by some old, so to speak, family film: Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson. The two had already starred together in the past, in the movie Maverick, but this time the talented Jodie, twice Oscar winner, not only to interpret a role, but directs his friend in a movie all its own.
Mr. Beaver (Mr. Beaver), is the chance of recovery for Gibson, we all loved in the past as an actor, director and also as a sex symbol, dramatically plunged into a whirlpool that alcohol, violence and destruction. How to make true friends, Jodie Foster has thus decided that the protagonist of his new film project would be just Mel, who played a thousand successful films, from Lethal Weapon to Braveheart (which he also directed) and actor of rank, although big fog.
The result? It seems better, at least as regards the interpretation of Mel Gibson. But let's get to the plot, which we anticipate something. Walter Black (Gibson) is a manufacturer of toys falling into a depression very serious because of what stops working and isolates himself from his family of his wife (Foster) is a great son and a smaller child.
All this until, thanks to a funny puppet shaped like a beaver with which the man takes on a totally different personality and winning, not only able to return to work successfully, but also to restore the relationship with the child. Everything seems to then go back in the right direction, until the puppet begins to take over so disturbing ...
what happens, really, to Walter Black? With this question I leave you to view the trailer, and if you have stimulated the curiosity of the film in full, strictly to the movies!
