Paris: Haider Ackermann and if ...?

Of him you are talking a lot these days. In the hectic round of rumors that the dismissal of John Galliano kicked off, Haider Ackermann is often cited by experts and the insiders as a possible successor in the role of Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy's creative director Stefano Pilati or that of Director Yves Saint Laurent's creative, if one of the two Italian designers were really to be the lead, artistically speaking, the House of Dior.

It 's a mystery is the absence of Decarnin

Christophe Decarnin did not appear to receive the applause of the audience at the end of the Balmain fashion show yesterday on the catwalks of Paris (READ THE REPORT OF ALL THE PAST SHOWS>>). Alain Hivelin, owner of Balmain, told the Telegraph that the designer, creative director of the House, was simply tired after working continuously for days and nights to the collection, putting to rest rumors that the designer would like out of the Maison.

New York: Women "all-star in the life" of Dolce & Gabbana and Ferragamo's sexy manager

Now Facebook has become a virtual marketplace for excellence, a place where people gather, talk, exchange opinions. There are occasions, events and news that arouse disproportionate amount of comments. Everyone feels entitled to have his say on everything. Often in error, but no matter. What matters is to make its mind (and if there are no ideas, at least his voice).

It also happens to the shows: when the photos are of the most anticipated online, on FB the insiders are unleashed in a few minutes to stain to superlatives or destroy a hatchet blow. Dolce & Gabbana are attentive to the phenomenon: the brand has a population of 2,323,000 fans on Facebook and 57,000 followers on Twitter (remember the "controversy" involving the "twitteraggio" Stefano Gabbana put on the Alessia Marcuzzi wearing Stella McCartney?) .

Milan: a day in a state of grace on the catwalk

There is a certain embarrassment at having to write about clothes and trends front row in the day that we would not have wanted to live, and yet feared to arrive. In the parterre of the Milan fashion shows do not talk. They keep the rumors on the business desk Galliano. Just as well, perhaps, not to transform it immediately into chatter (like, so, it will happen anyway ...

the television was not expecting that a new Sarah Scazzi). But the news of the discovery of the body of Yara Gambirasio can not disturb. The "circus" continues, but at least a thought ... Fashion does not stop on weekends. Quite the contrary. The morning opened with a show that, in general, never disappoints.

Milan: there are only Versace, Blumarine and Ferré

I know, I know that today was the day's highly anticipated show a high rate of glam, from Blumarine Versace, Gianfranco Ferré for switching. However, since we speak of luxury, I would like to also grant a once and begin the note of the third day of Milan Fashion Week subverting all the rules - including those of journalism - and talking about a show to be small, not particularly expected if not by experts in the strict sense.

London: Tom Ford, collection top secret

Vivienne Westwood is in its way, a queen. It will be true, perhaps, not surprising that its collections more: we all know by now what to expect from the runways of the lady of the British Empire that gave birth to punk. The unexpected and effect is so much a part of his design DNA, not nearly as surprised.

A kind of addiction? In a way, every show is a small fragment of this vast, endless parade that is his style and his taste. And that goes for the Autumn / Winter 2011/12 Red Label, on the catwalk yesterday in the calendar of London Fashion Week. Overlaps that defy all laws of balance, mix and match at least bold, references to the history of fashion heterogeneous anomalies that add up to one another seamlessly apparent ...

New York: What a disappointment, apart from Vera

Let's face it: Not all the donuts they can with the hole. Evidence of this ancient but still valid, saying the shows can be seen on the catwalks of New York yesterday. The most anticipated among the fashion show on the bill in the sixth day of Hermes, we can say without too many turns of phrase, we have a little 'disappointed.

Narciso Rodriguez offers a series of suits, coats and suits "collage" of discordant colors, like gray, lilac and brick, of fabrics with textures, lighting and different weights, of attitudes, from male to female sports more graceful . All this, however, it seems without a strong identity and recognizable style to the mountain.
