Have you ever found to open up the larder at home teasing everything in it is preserved without being hungry? This does not mean eat whatever we happen to pull, but simply to vent stress through food. To be affected, of course, is not only our line but also health, which will bear more than a few extra pounds.
So what would be the solution? Nothing easier: sleep! Not only makes it more attractive to stay, then, but also promotes weight loss. Yes, the U.S. health care organization Kaiser Permanente scientists conducted a study, which involved 500 obese adults, mean age 55 years, willing to lose at least 4 pounds.
The investigation lasted six months, after which 60% of participants failed to reach the goal and some even to lose over 4 pounds. This important result was achieved thanks to a healthier lifestyle, which included: a diet aimed at reducing the daily intake of 500 calories, three hours of regular physical activity per week.
The diary told through the results, has allowed scientists to identify the key: the participants, who lost weight, slept from 6 to 8 hours, a habit that has helped decrease the stress and, consequently, the need to "tease" beyond the specified hours. Charles Elder, the doctor who led the study, whose results have been published in the International Journal of Obesity, said: "This study suggests that when people are trying to lose weight should try to get the right amount of sleep and reduce their stress.
" The secret is to stay?? They could tell us first!
