A large step, elastic or rigid gait: the way you walk may reveal much about you. And your sexual behavior. According to Stuart Brody of the University of West Scotland and his Belgian colleagues, who examined the behavior of some female university students, the length of the pitch and the rotation of the pelvis would be able to say much of the preparation of a woman to experience vaginal orgasm.
The volunteers completed a questionnaire on their sexual behavior, and were videotaped as they walked in public. The videos were evaluated by two professors of sexology and two research assistants, who had no idea of the approach of sexual girls. The result? The appropriately trained sexologists were able to easily understand what the volunteers had a vaginal orgasm by observing as they walked, in more than 80 percent of cases.
The sum of stride length and vertebral rotation was greater in women predisposed to orgasm, than in the other. "This value could reflect the free flow of energy that, from the legs through the pelvis, the spine goes up," noted the authors, who published their study in The Journal of Sexual Medicine.
Among the many plausible explanations provided by the authors, one in particular suggests that a woman's anatomical features may predispose them to a greater or lesser tendency to experience vaginal orgasm. "The block of the pelvic muscles, which could be associated with psycho-sexual problems, could affect both the vaginal orgasmic response to the pace," says Brody.
In addition, women who can achieve orgasm vaginal feel more confident of their sexuality, and this could be reflected in their step. "This nonchalance may also be due to the high quality of the relationships that women have had," say the authors. This study might suggest how to improve treatments for sexual problems: it may be useful to propose motion exercises and breathing.
