Secondhand smoke harmful to the fetus

Smoking during pregnancy is FORBIDDEN but unfortunately there's also the dangers of secondhand smoke by which, at times, we are unable to do anything submitted to avoid it. Passive smoking is harmful at any time but when we are pregnant it is even more so because it increases the risk of miscarriage in the first quarter, so we girls need to know how to impose and claim our rights, at home, at work and where still do not respect the rules already in force.

Passive smoking as well as the smoking does not kill the child, but certainly increase the risks, contraindications of smoking during pregnancy will have long discussed and finally it seems that something is working, that women are increasingly aware that smoking and alcohol absolutely must be avoided during the nine months of gestation.

Secondhand smoke is what we suffer, cigarettes smoking colleagues, friends, parents and partners and are those to which you have to say no, because they can increase the risk of miscarriage. The first three months of pregnancy are the most critical and is also the period in which there are miscarriages most often.

Do you think that the neonatal mortality rate for those who suffer the smoke is 0.83% against the normal 0.34%. These data were collected on a sample of 12000 women.
